New Patient appointment - would like to only be booked when consecutive free times showing. (not in gaps)
This behaviour has just been upgraded in the latest update. Please take a look and tell me how you go :)
Is there some way that accessing zurili through chrome on my phone can be enabled with push notifications of some kind? So we know when an sms comes in that we need to triage?
It's a great question. As you know, you get notifications on your desktop, but your phone puts chrome to sleep so you don't see those unless Chrome is active. Pretty useless.
We have started work on a phone app specifically to address this issue and also to allow Zurili phone calls to be directly answered on your phone using the app and keeping your private phone details private. It's a little way out but development has started and it's pretty cool ;)
In the meantime, you'll just have to check on your phone from time to time.
Clients in in the Cooks like to see me multiple times during the week that I am on the Island and usually pay for them in advance. Can I receipt their pre-payment in Zurili? Is there means to send receipts via sms automatically once they have used a portion of their pre-payment?
Hi Dr Chad,
You can take a pre-payment an then use that for each subsequent billing, no problem.
You can then generate their receipt as a pdf and send using your usual email client. We will have direct email of receipt from Zurili shortly. It's in the near-term roadmap
Hi, I created an SMS template for contacting patients that I havnt seen in a while. but it doesnt read correctly. The template is:
hi client.firstName. Just letting you know that appointment.resources is back on Island this week. Go to Chiro in Raro facebook page to book or message him. Thanks Rebecca.
But instead of using my correct name Dr Chad Esaiah it still says DrFakeDr.
Also can I send an SMS to multiple patients at once? I tried and the system doesnt seem to like sending to lots of clients at once. Is there a limit?
Hi Dr Chad,
1. It says 'DrFakeDr' as a placeholder to show kind-of what it would look like when you send. This is normal and correct behaviour. Of course, when you send, that will be set to your name ;)
Remember, appointments could be with different Resources, so Zurili will slot in the correct one at send time. It's just that you probably only have yourself at this point.
Btw, if you want, you could add a link to book directly in your sms. Take the link you want to use from http://localhost:3001/settings/setup/online-booking . Of course it will be a bit long. But you can use a service like http://bit.ly to shorten it and add it to your message template. That way, they can go to book direct without having to go via FB.
2. Yes you can send an sms to multiple clients. If sending a manual sms, just add each client you want to send the message to in the About box at the top. You can use the '+' button to add a number of someone that isn't in your client list too if you want.
Why is it that my live zurili on my main computer accurately reflects times of events in my timezone (QLD time), but when i access it via my phone through the app/chrome it has the times in what appears to be eastern daylight savings time?
This is frustrating and inaccurate
We have come across this at another site. The problem was that their pc was set to Sydney time, not Brisbane so when daylight savings changed last weekend, they updated that setting. Of course the Syncrotron doesn't know this has happened so doesn't resync. Here's what to do:
1. Fix the timezone setting in your pc
2. Restart your pc
3. Pause the syncrotron
4. Hit the 'Full Sync' button top-right in the syncrotron.
5. Restart the syncrotron syncing (hit the big grey button top-left)
One of my patients is a computer wiz and he asked if he could get a reminder that could synch the appointment into his google calendar on his phone. Wouldn't that be cool. Not only do they get autamted reminders but they can get a txt about their appointment that syncs with their calendy so they can plan around their appointment.
Yes. It is a good idea. I've added it to the roadmap.
Hi Richard. I am in the process of getting my website done for my new practice in Redcliffs Christchurch. It needs a landline number and I have purchased a New Zealand number for voice because its cheap enough and I have a US number (does voce and SMS) for sending SMS messages because the US is really cheap. Will this work. So far I have not been able to get the NZ number to dial my phone and I cant dial it. Any suggestions
Hi, I love the online booking in Zurili. Patients in Rarotonga are already booking appointments. But they are complaining that can only book one appointment and no more. They want to book multiple appointments because I arrive there early next month from New Zealand and am only available there for a week so they want to make sure they can get a good series of adjustments. I would prefer them to book multiple appointments in advance rather than getting me or my CA to book it for them from New Zealand.
Hi Dr Chad,
When they are a new patient, they can only book one appointment. Once they have a completed appointment, they can book as many as they want.
I have created a new Zealand site in addition to my Rarotongan site. I have an american voice and sms number but I cant buy a New Zealand voice number. Also I cant save the options when editing the call diversion to concierge or voicemail. Can I use the US number to sms and a New Zealand number to receive and send voice calls?
All good I have been able to buy a NZ voice number. I must have been doing something wrong
Hi I cant seem to find New Zealand or Cook Islands in the country drop down box when trying to "Buy new number".
Unfortunately, while we have voice numbers for NZ, we don't yet have NZ numbers for SMS :(
You can still send SMS to NZ but you'll have to do it from a number originating in a different country. US numbers are particularly cheap, AU numbers a bit more expensive but you'll need to choose based on your cultural preference. The cost per SMS to send is determined solely by the destination, not your number choice.
We do expect NZ SMS-enabled numbers to become available, but I cannot tell you when. I'll let you know when they are.
Regarding Cook Islands, again, you can send SMS there no problem and in fact, they are about 5 times cheaper than NZ messages! Voice calls to Cook Islands is not clear, I'm investigating and will advise when I know.
